Deleting your Truck Assist account

You can delete your account and the data attached to it at any time, without giving a reason. There are two routes: inside the app, or by email.
Route 1 — in the app
Open Truck Assist → the Account tab → Delete account. You will be asked for your password and a confirmation. Deletion happens immediately and cannot be undone.
Route 2 — by email
Write to privacy@truck-assist.top from the address the account is registered to, with “deletion” in the subject. We act on the request within 30 days and confirm when it is done.
Use this route if you signed in with Google or Apple: such an account has no password, so the in-app button cannot verify you. We intend to remove that limitation.
What is deleted

What remains
Two kinds of record outlive the account but stop being connected to you — the link to your profile is removed:

After deletion these records carry neither your name nor your identifier, so authorship cannot be traced back from them.
Deleting some data without deleting your account
You do not have to delete the whole account to remove something you regret:
- A road report you made — open it in the app and choose withdraw. It stops being shown to other drivers immediately.
- A map point you added — open it and delete it.
- Your profile photo, phone number or company — clear the field in Account settings.
For anything else, write to privacy@truck-assist.top saying which data you want removed. We act on the request within 30 days, and the account itself stays exactly as it is.
Backups
The data leaves the live database immediately. Server backups taken before the deletion continue to exist for a time and are superseded by later ones; we never use them to restore an individual account.
